A part of closed wiring system of circular cross section for conductor and cables in electrical installation allowing to draw them in. Conduit should be closed - jointed so that the conductor can be drawn in and not inserted laterally. The conduit should be solid drawn or seam by welding.

The Conduits are made out of mild steel of tested quality and manufactured strictly as per IS : 9537 (part I & II). The wall thickness of conduit are maintained uniformly to provide high strength at any given point.

The conduit are threaded at both ends with a socket at one end. ISO – metric threads are full cut to comply with international standards.

The dimension of conduit are as per table no : 1 given below.

  Protective Coating :
 

For High Protection against corrosion,the exterior and interior  of conduit are cleaned chemically and galvanized inside and outside with pure zinc through Hot – Dippping Galvanizing process.

 

For Medium Protection against corrosion, the exterior and interior of conduit are cleaned chemically and then finished with Black Stoved Enamelled under Dipping Process and heated in Electric Heat Chamber.

In both the cases special care in taken for interior coating to greatly reduce wire pulling effort or eliminating  chances of short – circuiting.

The entire conduit manufacturing / coating process is so engineered so to give a durable uniform metallurgical bonded coating.
